Hey Foodie Family!
We hope you and your families are all safe and well. The last few weeks have been traumatic to say the least. We’ve all been touched by the catastrophic passing of Melissa and the destruction she left behind.
As a country, we face a long and difficult road ahead to rebuild but we will overcome together.
I had to pause and collect myself to reflect on all that I’m grateful for. My family was spared the wrath of Melissa but many of my fellow Jamaicans were not.
As we slowly return to work and resume some semblance of normalcy, I’m reminded of the simple pleasures and joy of a delicious meal. However, the basic necessities of life like potable water and food are now a luxury for many affected by the hurricane.
We at SEAR have been quietly contributing and playing our part. We’re in it for the long run and will continue to do so.
Help comes in many forms and we all have a role, our talent is cooking! Our craft feeds the hearts, souls and tummies of the community. The SEAR family is strong and we’re relying on all of you to help us, help others. Part proceeds of all SEAR purchases will go towards hurricane relief support in the form of care packages and meals delivered to Westmoreland.
